Standard Toolbar

The standard toolbar contains icons related to the commands used for processing.

The following are all the tools of the standard toolbar-

  1. New - Creates a new file.
  2. Open - This option is used to open the file already saved from the system.
  3. Save - This option is used to save the created file.
  4. E-mail - Sends a worksheet created using this option as the body of an e-mail message. 
  5. Print - This option is used to print the created worksheet.
  6. Print preview - This option is used to display a print preview of the file.
  7. Spelling - This option is used to check the spelling of the typed words.
  8. Cut - This option is used to cut the selected text, graphics etc.
  9. Copy - This option is used to copy the selected text, graphics etc.
  10. Paste - This option is used to paste cut and copied text and graphics.
  11. Format painter - copies the text style and pastes it on any other text.
  12. Undo - Aborts the previous task.
  13. Redo - Repeats the previous task again.
  14. Insert a hyperlink - Adds the hyperlink to the document.
  15. Auto sum - Adds the numbers present in the cell with the help of Sum function.
  16. Sort ascending - Arranges the selected numbers in ascending order and the words in ascending order (A-Z).
  17. Sort Descending - Arranges the selected numbers in descending order and the words in the order of (Z-A).
  18. Chart Wizard - This option is used to start the Chart wizard. In this, there are options to create charts on the worksheet and edit the charts.
  19. Zoom - This option is used to enlarge and shrink the active worksheet, which can enlarge the worksheet by 10-400%.
  20. Microsoft introduces excel help - Office assistant, which provides Help topics & tips. This helps in working.
  21. Pivot table and Pivot chart wizard - Starts the Pivot table and Pivot chart wizard. With its help Pivot table and Pivot chart can be created and modified.
  22. Insert comment - This option is used to enter a comment for the selected cell.
