Formatting Toolbar
The formatting toolbar is also displayed automatically on the screen and provides shortcuts to the commands used for text formatting.
- Font - Using this option the font of the selected cell is changed.
- Font size - Using this option, the font size of the selected text can be increased and decreased.
- Bold - This option is used to make the selected text bold, if the text is already bold then the bold effect can be removed from this option.
- Italic - This option is used to italicize the selected text, if the text is already italicized, then the italic effect can be removed from this option.
- Underline - This option is used to underline the selected text, if the text is already underlined, then the Underline effect can be removed from this option.
- Align left - Sets the text in the left alignment of the cell.
- Align right - Sets the text in right alignment in the cell.
- Align center - Sets the text to center alignment in the cell.
- Merge and center - Merges many cells together to form a cell and aligns the center.
- Currency style - This option is used to set the currency style.
- Percent style - This option is used to set the percentage style.
- Comma style - This option is used to set the Comma style.
- Increase decimal - This option is used to increase the number of digits displayed after the decimal point in selected cells.
- Decrease decimal - This option is used to decrease the number of digits displayed after the decimal point in selected cells.
- Decrease indent - Decrease indent.
- Increase indent - Increases indent.
- Borders - This option is used to place an outline around the cell.
- Fill color - This option is used to highlight the cell by giving it the background color.
- Font color - This option is used to color the text.
- Auto format - Applies the built in format to the cell range or pivot table report.
- Increase font size - Increases the size of the font.
- Decrease font size - Decrease font size.
- Text direction - Changes the direction of the text.
