Software
Software is a set of programs, rules and actions, which controls the computer system and coordinates between the various hardware of the computer so that a particular task can be completed. In this way, software is the instructions which are given to the hardware to perform the specified task. Software tells hardware what to do, when to do it and how to do it. Software is that part of the computer which we cannot touch, if hardware is the engine then software is its fuel.
When the hardware follows the instructions of the program to complete a task then it is said to run or execute the program.
