 Computer Working System

The working system of the computer is generally divided into 5 parts, which are necessary for every type of computer -

1)  Input - The act of putting data and instructions into the computer is called input. This is done by the input unit.

2) Storage - Data and instructions are stored in the memory unit so that they can be used as needed. The interim and final results obtained after processing by the computer are also stored in the storage unit.

3) Processing - According to the instructions on the data received by the input, it is converted into information by performing arithmetic and logical calculations and the desired tasks are performed.

4) Output - After processing by the computer, the act of displaying the information or results to the user is called output. This is done by the output unit.

5) Control - Controlling the equipment, instructions and information used in various processes and establishing coordination between them is called control.

For any computer to work, two things are required-

1. Hardware
